The University Archives is a service unit designed to organize, maintain and develop a collection of official records and materials of significant historical value related to Fayetteville State University. The unit is responsible for selecting, scheduling, preserving, and making available archival materials for research use. Archival material is considered primary research material.

Who May Use the Archives Collection? The Archives Collection is open to faculty, administrators, students, staff and community patrons. There are certain policies and procedures that govern its use (please see Use Guidelines for Archives & Special Collections [PDF] and Conditions of Use Agreement [PDF]).
Do Materials Circulate? Materials are RESTRICTED and must be used within the department. Some photocopying may be allowed based upon the Library Staff's discretion. Materials are not available for regular checkout.
