to the Nursing Program at FSU
Scope:
The Nursing Subject Guide is an introduction
to nursing information resources available at the Charles W. Chesnutt
Library. This guide serves as a starting point to aid students, faculty,
and staff researching nursing topic at Fayetteville State University.
Introduction
to the Nursing Program at FSU:
The baccalaureate nursing program at FSU
offers two tracks. The RN to BSN track is designed for registered
nurses to earn their bachelor of science in nursing degree. The generic
track is a four-year pre-licensure track leading to a baccalaureate
degree in nursing. Upon satisfactory completion of the generic track
graduates are eligible to take the Nation Council Licensing Examination –
Registered Nurse (NCLEX-RN).
